How it works
Here follows the brief description of various phases which explains the contest course. It is very simple to launch a contest on Logotrader.
PHASE 1: Launching a contest
- Step 1: Project Description:
The launching page will give the designers an idea of what you are looking for such as description, keywords, colors, etc. - Step 2: Customer Information:
Here you need to enter your contactinformation - Step 3: Award Determination and Options:
Choose your rate. In general the more you pay, the more you attract designers and also get more entries. - Step 4: Payment:
The project becomes live once the payment is done successfully. You can download your invoice immediately after it. Note: the amount you paid will be placed in an escrow account which is a kind of intermediate station. By this method, the designers can be confident about getting their money after you picked a winner and it also can be used for a refund (money back garantuee).
PHASE 2: During the contest
The contest actually lasts for 7 days. Try to motivate the designers by answering their questions, give comments and feedback. The more you cooperate with the contest the better the result will be. Not satisfied after 7 days? No problem: we will prolonge the contest with 7 days for free (one time).
PHASE 3: There is a Winner
During the 7 days contests, it is possible to choose one or more winners. If a winner is chosen the project status will change to “Judgement mode”. From that point only the winner can add more entries (or adjustements) till you are fully satisfied. The judgement mode continues for 7 days max.
PHASE 4: File Delivery
After you choose a winner an automatic email notification is sent to that winner contains instructions for uploading files in a compressed format. The file can then be downloaded by you and checked if it needs your requirement. If you are fully satisfied with the files you have to click on the approve-link so that the award will be added immediately to the winner’s account. The contest status will change to “Completed”.
